What is the Italijet Dragster?

One of the more jazzy scooters around, the Dragster, was first introduced in 1997 and built between 1997 and 2002.

Apart from the unique space-age design, this scooter is particularly remarkable in its unique forkless RAAD front suspension.

This forkless suspension setup is an unusual one for two-wheelers – the only other one that has used this setup is the Yamaha GTS 1000.

The 2022 Dragster reboot

The Dragster must have clicked with a lot of people because, in 2021 (almost two decades after the discontinuation of the original model), a new, rebooted version was announced. Now available with either a 125cc and 200cc engine, the new Dragster features among other things:
  • Full LED headlights
  • Independent steering system
